Programmes and Events at the Cailleach Community
The Irish material in all of our work comes from the folk record, the manuscripts and the scholarship on them, curated and guided by a professional heritage educator, Irish historian, and Bean Draoi, Lora O'Brien.
The Cailleach's Call
This is a private one day event for women in midlife, held at an exclusive hotel and spa in Co. Waterford with an online seat as well. It runs to six sessions, each a teaching followed by a practice you do rather than watch, and places are filled by application.
The One-to-One Private Sessions
This is Lora working with one woman at a time, by application only. When new client spaces are available, invitations to apply are sent to the Private Notice Register.
The Cailleach's Council
This is the ongoing membership, with the private Council Chambers open the year round, a prompt every other week and a group call once a quarter. You can join by the year or by the month, but can only apply for a seat on the Council through a programme or event you've already done with us.
The Cailleach Community Podcast
This is Lora's public work on inheritance, midlife and identity, with Irish tradition and gentle energy work supporting women in midlife with what you're actually carrying - family, money, religion, roles, and the rage. It's for women in menopause and the years around it.
