Hey, fáilte! I’m Lora, and I walk with women who are ready to face what shaped them and step into who they’re becoming...
As the matriarch in my family, I support everyone through the ups and downs with grace and surety, but I’ve known the weight of ancestral and life trauma, midlife upheaval, and identity loss. I’ve learned how to turn that pressure into truth, strength, and right relationship, and I'd love to show you how.
Who Am I?
I’ve spent more than thirty years walking an Irish spiritual path and tending the deep places where land, ancestry, and identity meet. That work has shaped my life as a draoi, an author, a priest dedicated to the MĂłrrĂgan, and a cultural educator.
But it also shaped me as a mother and now a grandmother, a woman who has rebuilt herself more than once, and someone who has sat in the dark with the same questions you might be holding now.
My professional life looks impressive on paper; I’ve written 9 books on Irish history, mythology, magic, and sovereignty. I earned a Masters degree in Irish Regional History, specialising in Ogham and Irish identity.
I founded the Ogham Academy and the MĂłrrĂgan Academy, and I professionally managed the ancient royal complex of Cruachán, the home of Queen Medb and the MĂłrrĂgan, for over a decade.
I co-founded the Irish Pagan School, where we’ve taught tens of thousands of students through culturally grounded, academically solid, ethically Irish spiritual practice.
But none of that matters as much as this.
- I know what it feels like to carry the weight of ancestry, abuse, and old religion in your bones.
- I know what it’s like to hit midlife and realise the version of you that carried everyone else can’t carry you anymore.
- I know what it means to lose your sense of self after years of being the dependable one, the strong one, the quiet one who just got on with it.
I’ve lived through the collapse of roles and identities that once felt permanent, including two previous marriages. I’ve walked the long way back to myself, guided by tradition, land, and hard won sovereignty.
My work now is to support women who are ready for that same shift. Women who don’t want performance, spiritual tourism, or borrowed ritual. Women who need depth, honesty, boundaries, and a native Irish voice that can hold the cultural, emotional, and ancestral complexity of their lives.
Women like you, who are ready to stop carrying what isn’t ours, honour what is, and finally step into the next phase of life with clarity, strength, and integrity.
I teach from lived experience and long study, but also from a very ordinary Irish life: raising children to grown, becoming a grandmother, building a successful career, navigating loss, rebuilding, and choosing myself with a steadiness I didn’t always have.
My authority isn’t just academic. It’s maternal, ancestral, earned, and ongoing.
If you’re carrying old wounds you’re ready to face, if midlife has cracked something open that you can no longer ignore, if you’re standing at the threshold of the woman you’re becoming and want guidance that’s culturally true and spiritually grounded, you’re in the right place.
I’ve been where you are.
And I know the way forward.
